Tesla (TSLA) Chief Executive Elon Musk appealed directly to President Donald Trump to reverse course on tariffs over the weekend, the Washington Post reported Monday, citing two unnamed people familiar with the matter.
Musk, who serves as an adviser to the administration and spent $290 million to elect Trump and his allies, has also publicly disagreed with the tariff policy, the report said.
Tesla and the White House did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
