The promotion, part of Ford's From America, For America campaign, comes in response to the Trump administration's new 25% tariff on foreign-made vehicles. The discount, known as the A Plan, applies to most 2024 and 2025 models but excludes the F-150 Raptor, 2025 Super Duty trucks, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and fleet sales.

Buyers can expect to save anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000. A Ford F-150 XLT, for example, could drop from $65,000 to $55,000, according to dealership figures shared with the Detroit Free Press.

Ford is also sweetening the deal for electric vehicle shoppers. Anyone buying or leasing a Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit van by June 30 gets a free home charger and installation.

The move comes as Ford's inventory climbs. The company had more than 568,000 unsold vehicles at the end of March, up 8% from last year, according to Cox Automotive. First-quarter sales slipped 1.3%, but EV sales rose 25.5%, making up 15% of total volume.

With new tariffs expected to raise car prices by $4,000 to $12,000, analysts say many shoppers are buying early. Used vehicle prices could rise too, as demand shifts. Ford says its campaign offers some stability in a shaky marketand a chance to clear out a packed lot.
