美国总统唐纳德·特朗普公开喊话美联储主席杰罗姆·鲍威尔降息，重申他长期以来希望央行将利率维持在低位来刺激消费者需求的立场。

　　”这会是美联储主席杰罗姆·鲍威尔降息的完美时机。他总是‘迟到’，但他现在可以改变自己的形象，而且要快，”  特朗普周五发帖称。

　　他写道：“能源价格下来了、利率下来了、通胀下来了，甚至连鸡蛋价格都下降了69%，而且就业人数在上升，这一切都发生在两个月之内—这是美国的巨大胜利。杰罗姆，降息，也不要再玩政治了！” 

　　鲍威尔定于周五在华盛顿附近发表讲话。
