U.K. spirits maker Diageo formed a joint venture with Main Street Advisors to grow Ciroc Ultra-Premium Vodka in North America and Lobos 1707 Tequila worldwide.
The company behind Johnnie Walker whisky, Guinness beer and Smirnoff vodka said the deal is part of its growth ambition strategy to deliver long-term sustainable growth and to capture opportunities in North America.
North America is Diageo's largest region, generating around 40% of net sales and 50% of operating profit.
