4 月 8 日，在香港“Web3 学者峰会 2025”上，以太坊创始人 Vitalik Buterin 发表演讲。他表示，OP 和 ARB 需要一周时间确认提款状态，虽然用户可以用即时性的桥，但很贵，所以我们需要加速 L2 确认时长，以及一个更整合统一的以太坊系统。如何实现这一目标？
第一步是 ZK+TEE+OP“三选二式”设计，实现起来需 30 天升级窗口期；
第二步是借助 L1SLOAD，一段支持 L2 不过度先行地异步读取 L1 的操作码；
第三步是证明整合，与其分别确认链上状态，不妨验证者都向一个整合器提交证明；
第四步是低延迟验证者。
以太坊的长期目标是在 12 秒左右实现 L1 和 L2 间原生同步通信。
