Spire Global (SPIR) said late Monday that it has reached an agreement with Kpler Holding to settle an ongoing lawsuit tied to the sale of the space-based data provider's maritime business.
In February, Spire filed a lawsuit to compel Kpler to close the transaction under the original terms, alleging that the buyer breached its contractual obligations, the company said.
Spire said Monday that the agreement requires both parties to drop legal claims if the transaction is completed by April 25, with a potential extension to April 30 in limited cases.
Shares of Spire were up more than 30% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
