Walmart May Join Group Pursuing TikTok Following Amazon's Interest, ABC News Says

--Walmart is actively considering joining a group of investors trying to buy TikTok following Amazon's 11th hour bid, ABC News reported, citing sources close to the deal.

--The retailer in 2020 said it was teaming up with Microsoft to make a bid for the Chinese-owned social video app, ABC News said.

--The Trump administration is considering a deal to save TikTok that would have China maintaining control of the algorithm that will be leased to a U.S. company, with a minority ownership stake, ABC New reported.

--The White House and Walmart didn't immediately respond to requests for comment, according to ABC News.
