路透社4月8日 - RTX RTX.N周二表示，其发动机制造子公司普惠公司已为其齿轮传动涡扇(GTF) 发动机部件开发出一种增材制造维修工艺，可将加工时间缩短60%以上。
该公司目前正在处理 GTF 发动机的一个问题，并正在对可能存在缺陷的部件进行检查，近几个月来，该问题已导致数百架飞机停飞。
普惠公司售后市场运营副总裁凯文-柯克帕特里克（Kevin Kirkpatrick）说，添加剂维修工艺将有助于缩短周转时间，降低模具成本。"同时，这也减少了我们对当前材料供应紧张的依赖"。
