智通财经APP获悉，花旗全球财富管理部门主管Andy Sieg表示，尽管“最剧烈的冲击”可能已经过去，但该行仍建议高净值客户在极端的市场波动中保持谨慎。
Sieg在周四到访新加坡时接受采访时表示，这家华尔街银行的顾问们在说“不要追涨，不要抄底”。他表示，“在世界变化非常快的时期，我们要尽量严守投资纪律”。他还称，现在不是增加风险资产的时候。
在美国总统特朗普决定暂停对大多数国家拟议的更高贸易关税后，股市在周四从近日的大幅下跌中反弹。此前市场的大幅下挫已导致包括大型对冲基金和富有人士在内的主要投资者面临追加保证金要求。
这位驻纽约的高管在谈到美中正在进行的关税上调时表示：“全世界都已意识到这场结构性变革正在发生。我们还不知道的是，这将如何影响经济活动和企业盈利。”
Sieg称，持续不断的市场动态使得“所有人”的连续睡眠时间不超过三四小时。他还补充道，由于特朗普“非常关注”美国制造业的就业机会，而全球贸易体系又紧密交织，以一种让每个人都能应对的方式来协调这些问题，这让他夜不能寐。
