路透4月10日 - 欧盟执委会主席冯德莱恩周四告诉英国《金融时报》，如果与美国总统特朗普的谈判失败，欧盟准备部署其最强有力的贸易措施，并可能对美国数字公司征税。
报道补充说，欧盟将在特朗普暂停征收额外关税的90天内寻求与华盛顿达成一项完全平衡的协议。
但她警告说，如果谈判失败，欧盟准备将跨大西洋贸易战大幅扩大到服务领域，可能包括对数字广告收入征税，这将打击 Meta META.O 和 Alphabet 旗下的谷歌 GOOGL.O 等科技集团。
她表示，特朗普的贸易战引发了“全球贸易的一个完全的转折点”。她补充道：“毫无疑问，这对美国来说是一个转折点。我们再也不会回到原来了。”
她说，欧盟执委会此前曾试图与美国谈判，但被告知要等到特朗普4月2日的关税声明后。该声明对欧盟征收20%的关税。
冯德莱恩在谈到对全球贸易战的担忧时说，欧盟不会允许面临美国关税的中国产品充斥欧洲市场。她补充说，如果新的监测系统检测到中国进口增加，布鲁塞尔将采取保护措施。(完)
