Stellantis has halted production of Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology's (HKG:9863) T03 small electric car in Poland, Reuters reported Tuesday.
The French-Italian automobile manufacturer stopped the assembly of the T03 model on March 30 and is currently gauging other production options for the vehicle, the report said.
While it did not specify the reason for the stoppage, Stellantis said it remains committed to launching Leapmotor vehicles in Europe, Reuters reported.
Stellantis and Leapmotor are now looking to upgrade the model to A-series models that will be produced outside China from 2026, Reuters reported, citing a person with knowledge of the matter.
