Zillow (ZG) said Thursday it has introduced new listing transparency standards requiring homes publicly marketed to buyers to also be listed in the Multiple Listing Service and published on platforms such as Zillow and other MLS-fed sites.

eXp World (EXPI) unit eXp Realty is the first to adopt these standards by pledging to place listings in the MLS within one day of marketing them to consumers, the company said.

These guidelines follow the National Association of Realtors clear cooperation policy, ensuring that all publicly marketed listings appear online everywhere, giving equal and timely access to both buyers and agents, it added.

Any listing that does not meet these standards will not be published on Zillow or Trulia.
