Alphabet (GOOG) reaffirmed plans to spend $75 billion in 2025 to boost its data center capacity, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai.

The investment will be used on chips and servers to bolster core offerings, including Search, while supporting the development of AI services, Pichai said at the annual conference for Google's cloud computing unit, according to Reuters.
