最近几天，投资者将美国钢铁公司的股价推高至2024年3月以来的最高水平，因为他们希望特朗普能扭转前总统拜登阻止新日铁收购这家美国公司的决定。周一，特朗普下令对拟议中的交易进行另一次国家安全审查，美国外国投资委员会有45天的时间来完成这项交易。

然而，特朗普一再表示，他不希望新日铁持有该公司的多数股权。特朗普说：“我的意思是，如果你回到90年前看美国钢铁公司，那是令人难以置信的，它在很长一段时间里都是世界第一的公司。这就是为什么我们不希望看到它流向日本，我们热爱日本，但美国钢铁是一家非常特殊的公司。”
