Qantas, Airbus to Invest AU$15 Million in Climate-Focused Venture Fund

Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) and Airbus will invest AU$15 million in Climate Tech Partners (CTP), a venture firm specializing in climate technology, part of the airline's and the aerospace company's $200 million partnership to accelerate the development of sustainable aviation fuel production (SAF), according to a Wednesday statement by the airline.

The investment will focus on developing technologies for SAF and feedstock materials, the statement said.

CTP will invest for Qantas and Airbus in SAF and technology startups, with the option for further investments to deploy upcoming technologies in projects, the statement added.
