A pause and reduction on several of Trump's tariffs Wednesday buoyed shares in the industrial sector.
Boeing stock soared after President Trump paused his "reciprocal" tariffs on non-retaliating countries for 90 days, as investors worried that the jet maker was caught in the trade-war's crosshairs.
Cummins got an extra boost from tariffs relief, as it was already rising following the announcement of regulatory approval in principle for its methanol-ready engines.
