enCore Energy (EU) said Wednesday it has completed the sale of the subsidiary that holds its New Mexico uranium assets to Verdera Energy in a stock-and-cash transaction.
enCore said it received 50 million non-voting preferred shares of Verdera, representing around 73% of the Canadian company's issued shares; $350,000 in cash; and a 2% royalty on uranium and other minerals from the New Mexico properties as consideration for the sale.
The assets included in the transaction are the Crownpoint, Hosta Butte, Nose Rock, West Largo, and Ambrosia Lake-Treeline uranium projects, enCore said.
