HD Hyundai (KRX:267250) and Huntington Ingalls Industries signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in ship production for defense and commercial projects, Huntington Ingalls said earlier this week.
The partnership aims to enhance technological innovation and production efficiency by combining the expertise of both shipbuilders.
Shares of HD Hyundai jumped more than 4% in recent trade.
