Livium (ASX:LIT) said its unit Envirostream Australia signed a battery storage and recycling agreement with Schenker Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
DB Schenker, a global logistics firm, will provide new lithium-ion batteries to Envirostream, who will safely store them until a return is requested. Schenker will also provide used lithium-ion batteries, to be stored and processed.
The agreement began on April 4 and provides Livium the exclusive rights to provide battery recycling services in Australia. It has a one-year term and has no minimum volumes during the term.
Its share price rose 6% in recent trading on Wednesday.
