Dow Jones
11 Apr

1422 ET - Capri Holdings' deal to sell Versace to Prada comes in the midst of a U.S.-China trade war. Versace is mostly made in Europe. Meanwhile, the remaining Capri brands in its portfolio, Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo brands, have a 60% of Americas sales mix and a high-single-digit percentage China sourcing, Jefferies analysts say in a research note. Overall, Michael Kors' inventory is mostly made in Asia. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2025. Capri shares fall 9.4% to $14.83. (sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
