Centene (CNC) said late Thursday that its subsidiary, SilverSummit Healthplan, secured a five-year contract from the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services to provide Medicaid managed care services.

As part of the contract, SilverSummit will expand Medicaid managed care into Nevada's rural and frontier service areas, which were previously under a fee-for-service model, according to the company.

The contract, effective Jan. 1, 2026, includes an option for a two-year extension, Centene added.
