PANews 4月10日消息，据财富杂志报道，加密货币保险公司Meanwhile周四完成了由Framework Ventures和Fulgur Ventures领投的4000万美元A轮融资，加密货币银行Xapo的创始人Wences Casares也参与了此次投资。此轮融资对Meanwhile的估值为1.9亿美元，几乎是2022年最近一轮融资时估值的两倍。Meanwhile将利用此轮融资筹集的资金进行全球扩张，并确保其产品符合监管要求。
据介绍，Meanwhile的人寿保险政策与普通人寿保险类似。投保人需向精算师计算得出的每月保费进行支付。然而，与从银行账户支付或使用支票不同，客户需从加密货币钱包中用比特币支付。当投保人去世时，其家人将以比特币形式收到索赔金额。
