Virtus Investment Partners (VRTS) reported Thursday preliminary assets under management of $167.46 billion as of March 31, down from $174.53 billion a month earlier.
Preliminary average assets under management for the quarter were $173.6 billion.
Virtus said the decrease of AUM from the Dec. 31 value of $175 billion was primarily attributable to market performance and net outflows in US retail mutual funds, institutional accounts and retail separate accounts, partially offset by positive net flows in exchange-traded funds.
