3月20日，纽柯钢铁公司发布了第1季度业绩预测。2025年第1季度，该公司钢铁厂业务收益将与2024年第4季度持平。其中，钢铁产品收益预计环比下降，主要原因是平均销售价格走低；原材料收益预计环比减少，主要由于旗下直接还原铁（DRI）设施利润率收窄。

该公司预计第1季度每股摊薄收益为0.45美元~0.55美元，在加回约合每股0.05美元的一次性费用后（2025年第1季度未调整预测范围中，包含约1600万美元、合每股摊薄收益0.05美元的预估一次性费用），第1季度经调整后的每股摊薄收益预计为0.50美元~0.60美元。纽柯钢铁公司2024年第4季度实现每股摊薄净收益1.22美元，与2024年第1季度的3.46美元相比大幅下降。此外，该公司行政费用及税务影响预计较2024年第4季度有所增加。

截至目前，纽柯钢铁公司已以每股133.17美元的平均价格回购约230万股股票，通过股份回购及股息派发向股东回报资金约4.28亿美元。

据悉，纽柯钢铁公司第1季度的最终财报将于2025年4月28日美股收盘后发布。
