Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) repurchased for cancellation 425,990 ordinary shares, according to a filing with the New Zealand and Australian bourses.
The company acquired 110,453 ordinary shares on New Zealand's Stock Exchange at an average price of NZ$0.5935 each and 98,249 ordinary shares on the Australian Securities Exchange for an average price of AU$0.5398 apiece.
Additionally, 217,288 ordinary shares were acquired off-market from the finance minister at an average price of NZ$0.5906.
