Fastenal increased its dividend by 1 cent, to 44 cents.
The new payout, equal to $1.76 a year, represents an annual yield of about 2.3% based on Thursday's closing price of $75.79.
The higher dividend will be paid on May 23 to shareholders of record as of April 25, the industrial- and construction-supplies maker said.
The Winona, Minn., is scheduled to release its first-quarter results before the start of trading on Friday.
