April 10 - (The Insurer) - Lockton Re has named James Dickerson head of retrospective reinsurance and legacy solutions as part of the continued build-out of its capital advisory practice.
Dickerson will be based in Lockton Re’s London office.
The capital advisory practice is split into four areas: financial analysis and capital consulting, Lloyd's-specific capital deployment, structured reinsurance, and global legacy.
Dickerson joins following three and a half years at Gallagher Re, where he served as global head of retrospective solutions. Prior to that, he was an executive director at Willis Re, as well as senior manager at law firm RPC.
He will work alongside Eric Paire, who officially took up his role as head of Lockton Re's capital advisory practice in London last month.
The Insurer revealed in April 2024 that former Aon executive Paire had been appointed to lead the capital advisory business as part of the build-out of Lockton Re's London capital markets team.
This also saw the appointment of James Mackay, formerly head of Lloyd’s relationships at Aon Reinsurance Solutions, to lead a newly formed Funds at Lloyd’s division, as first reported by this publication.
