Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back 260,000 shares from the London Stock Exchange at an average price of 7.3816 pounds sterling apiece on Thursday, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The insurer plans to cancel the repurchased shares. Following the buyback, the firm will have 2,610,037,013 shares in issue.
