格隆汇4月11日｜日本制铁(Nippon Steel)拟斥资149亿美元收购美国钢铁(US Steel)。路透引述美国总统特朗普表示，由于他的关税政策，不确定美国钢铁是否需要与日本制铁达成交易。

特朗普在内阁会议期间向传媒表示，由于关税，美钢现在会做得很好，不知道他们为什么还需要交易。该公司是美国国家史上最伟大的公司之一，并反问日本制铁为何不能自己兴建一座工厂。

特朗普重申，他爱日本，但对外国收购美钢表示担忧。他对日本制铁成为美钢的投资者感觉更好，但暗示这可能导致日本制铁拥有整个美钢，而这不是他所希望的。

特朗普周三指出，美钢是一间很特别的公司，因此不希望看到该间公司落入日本企业之手，白宫政府正在努力处理有关问题。

美钢稍早发声明表明仍对交易持积极态度，称公司和日本制铁正在与特朗普政府密切合作，以确保获得一笔重大投资。
