Oracle (ORCL) and Alphabet's (GOOG) Google Cloud said Wednesday they plan to set up a new reseller program and add capabilities for Database@Google Cloud.
The companies said Oracle and Google Cloud partners will be able to sell Oracle Database@Google Cloud via Google Cloud Marketplace under the new program.
They also plan to launch a preview of Oracle Base Database Service, while adding support for Exadata X11M and Oracle Interconnect for Google Cloud support for Oracle US Government customers.
The partnership will expand regional availability of Database@Google Cloud over the next 12 months to multiple locations, including Australia, Canada, and Japan, the companies said.
