Lindian Resources (ASX:LIN) has started the early-stage site works at its Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawi, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Early works include pre-construction earthworks, plant and storage area preparation, and the establishment of equipment laydown zones, the filing said.
Roadworks are ahead of schedule, with completion expected in the second quarter, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose past 8% on market close.
