BUZZ-US chip stocks fall as Nvidia expects $5.5 bln charge on export curbs

** U.S. semiconductor stocks fall premarket, with Nvidia NVDA.O leading losses after the U.S. government limited exports of its H20 artificial intelligence chip to China

** NVDA, down 5.3%, says it will face 5.5 bln in charges due to U.S. chip export controls

** Advanced Micro devices AMD.O down 5.8% as curbs will hit its MI308 chip; Broadcom AVGO.O falls 3.1%, Micron Tech MU.O sheds 3.2%, Intel INTC.O drops 2.4%

** World's biggest supplier of computer chip-making equipment ASML ASML.AS says tariffs clouding its outlook

** European semiconductors and tech stocks declined, with European technology index .SX8P losing 2.5%

** NVDA slides 16.5%, AMD slips 21.1%, AVGO plunges 22.8%, MU sheds 15.6%, INTC dips 1% this year, as of last close
