Sprintex (ASX:SIX) said the commissioning of a compressor operation on saturated steam was completed at Mest Water's facility in Tubergen, Netherlands in March, validating both performance and efficiency, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Sprintex and Mest Water are collaborating on developing the Mest ZLD-Up system for reducing ammonia emissions from agriculture, in response to Dutch regulations.
The parties will implement two additional smaller Sprintex compressors post-heat exchangers, beyond the initial quote, to drive further operating efficiencies.
Mest Water is finalizing negotiations with a European agribusiness group for a maiden purchase order, which is expected to represent a total order value for Sprintex compressors of around 4.5 million euros.
