Chinese Shares Lower, Weighed by Tech Stocks -- Market Talk

0152 GMT - Chinese shares are lower in early trade, with the Shanghai Composite Index down 0.35%, the Shenzhen Composite Index off 0.75%, and the ChiNext Price Index 0.9% lower. Investors are closely watching any developments between the U.S. and China after Trump called on China to reach out to him to start negotiations. The markets are also digesting the latest China home prices data. Technology companies are leading the declines, with Foxconn Industrial Internet down 3.4% and Luxshare Precision Industry 2.8% lower.
