马斯克在推文中强调：“这是首次，全自动驾驶将很快迎来一个通用的、纯 AI 的解决方案。”据其描述，该技术将依托特斯拉自主研发的AI芯片及算法。这一技术路线与特斯拉自2016年起坚持的“视觉优先”战略一脉相承，但此前因多次安全事故陷入争议。行业数据显示，特斯拉FSD Beta版目前在美国的渗透率已超40万辆，但其安全评级仍落后于Waymo等采用激光雷达方案的竞争对手。
