消息面上，广州发布25项举措培育建设国际消费中心城市，提出落实市内免税店政策，推动市内免税店尽快开业，积极扩大入境消费。此前国家税务总局发布《关于推广境外旅客购物离境退税“即买即退”服务措施的公告》，对离境退税“即买即退”的主要内容、办理流程和施行时间作出明确规定，将该项服务措施从多地试点推广至全国。华泰证券认为，中免占据国内免税市场份额的81.74%（公司官网），旗下免税店作为旅游零售和承接消费回流的重要窗口，渠道价值得以凸显，有望受益于入境游需求增长，引入优质国货扩容产品矩阵，优化消费者体验，带动经营向上修复。
此外，国泰海通证券表示，免税店所销售的免税商品包括按规定免征关税、进口环节增值税、消费税的进口商品和实行退（免）增值税、消费税进入免税店销售的国产商品。在关税提高的背景下，短期内有税和免税价差有望扩大，原产地为美国的进口商品销售有望向免税渠道倾斜。同时，原产地为美国的进口商品销售收入占公司总收入比例为个位数，即使后续加征关税也对公司经营无大影响。
