Chorus (ASX:CNU, NZE:CNU) said total fiber connections rose by about 9,000 lines to 1.1 million connections in the third quarter ended March 31, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
This offsets a decline of 7,000 copper broadband lines in Chorus fiber areas, per the filing.
The telecommunications company disconnected 16,000 copper lines during the quarter, leaving about 107,000 copper lines as of March 31.
