美国财政部长斯科特·贝森特表示，“没有证据”表明主权国家抛售美国国债。

　　贝森特接受采访时发表评论：美国国债没有遭到抛售，贝森特补充说，他已经学会了不要过于关注一周内发生的事情。

　　此前日本表示并不打算在即将于周四（4月17日）举行的与美国的关税谈判中，将其所持有的美国国债作为谈判筹码。

　　贝森特还重申美国“仍然具有一个强势美元政策”。这番表态旨在平息市场对外国主要持有者可能大规模减持美债的担忧。此前2月，贝森特曾表示不会发行更多长期国债来应对不断膨胀的美国赤字。这成为对冲基金开始押注长期美国国债价格上涨的主要原因。

　　在被问及如果美债市场进一步动荡，财政部是否有能力干预时，贝森特称财政部有一个庞大的工具箱。

　　此外贝森特还表示，他将在秋季某个时候开始面试下一任美联储主席的候选人。

　　当前美联储主席鲍威尔的任期将于2026年到期，但市场普遍关注其是否会提前卸任。贝森特此番表态意味着，美联储领导层的交接问题将在今年晚些时候开始进入讨论阶段。
