Warner Music Group has tapped former Activision Blizzard finance chief Armin Zerza as its next chief financial officer.
Zerza will take on the role effective May 5, succeeding Bryan Castellani who will act as adviser from that date to help with the handover, the music company said Monday.
Warner Music said Zerza brings three decades of experience in the entertainment, technology and consumer goods industries. Zerza joined Activision Blizzard in August 2015 and served as chief financial officer and chief commercial officer, as well as playing a role in the company's acquisition by Microsoft in 2023. That followed more than 20 years of leadership experience at Procter & Gamble.
Warner Music is scheduled to release its fiscal second-quarter financial results May 8. In premarket trading Monday, its shares were 3.1% higher after ending last week at $29.03 for a decline of 6.4% so far in 2025.
