Amplify Energy (AMPY) said Monday it plans to adjourn its special stockholders' meeting related to the proposed merger with Juniper Capital's upstream Rocky Mountain portfolio companies.

There will be no voting in today's meeting, the company said, adding that it plans to reconvene the special meeting on April 23.

The adjournment is to allow more time to solicit proxies from stockholders to ensure better participation in the voting process, according to a company statement.

The record date for the special meeting on March 3 remains unchanged and applies to the reconvened special meeting, according to the company.
