4月17日，赫兹租车盘后继续拉升现涨56%，该股隔夜大幅收涨逾56%。消息称比尔·阿克曼旗下对冲基金潘兴广场对赫兹租车持股比例达到大约19.8%，成为该公司第二大股东。
根据周三提交的一份文件显示，比尔·阿克曼(Bill Ackman)的投资公司Pershing Square Capital Management购入了1270万股赫兹$(HTZ)$股票，购入时价值约4650万美元，这使其成为赫兹最大的股东之一。
此前，赫兹因贸然押注特斯拉电动汽车而陷入困境，这些电动汽车不受客户欢迎且维护成本高昂。此后，赫兹一直在努力更新车队，为公司的发展重新布局。赫兹于2021年从破产困境中走出。
