智通财经APP获悉，周三，美股稀土股表现强势，USA Rare Earth(USAR.US)飙升逾28%，本周三个交易日股价翻倍；MP Materials(MP.US)大涨15%。据央视新闻报道，4月15日，美国总统特朗普签署了一项行政命令，对美国依赖进口加工关键矿物及其衍生产品的国家安全风险展开调查。
上述行政命令涵盖美国政府认定的“国防工业基础基石”的一系列矿物，包括稀土元素，这些矿物资源对制造喷气发动机、导弹制导系统、先进计算机以及雷达、光学和通信设备至关重要。此外，铀、矿物加工形态和衍生产品也被纳入监管范围。
白宫表示，此次最新调查可能涵盖美国地质勘探局(USGS)所定义的所有关键矿物。USGS的50种关键矿物清单包括锂、镍、锌、锡、铂以及一系列更为小众的金属，但最终哪些矿物将纳入政策建议仍由美国政府官员灵活决定。
