Abacus Storage King (ASX:ASK) said its independent board committee and advisers are actively considering the non-binding takeover offer from Ki and $Public Storage(PSA-N)$'s K Consortium to acquire all of the company's outstanding stapled securities for AU$1.47 per security, via a scheme of arrangement, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company has commissioned updated independent valuations of its property valuations, the filing said.
The committee and advisers are assessing the consortium's proposed tax conditions to evaluate their impact on transaction certainty, the filing added.
Abacus Storage King advises shareholders not to take any action at this stage and it will provide updates to the market when necessary, per the filing.
