AmpliTech's 5G Division Gets $11 Million Purchase Orders; Shares Surge

AmpliTech (AMPG) said Wednesday its 5G division has received purchase orders worth about $11 million for its Open Radio Access Network radio products, as part of a multiyear letter of intent from an unnamed Tier 1 mobile network operator in North America.

The company said the LOI follows a $78 million agreement announced earlier this month.

AmpliTech shares were up more than 27% in recent trading.
