智通财经APP获悉，今日，金山云(KC.US，03896.HK)宣布公开发行18,500,000股美国存托股（ADS），每ADS代表该公司15股普通股。同时，金山云授予ADS承销商购买额外美国存托股的30天选择权。为了方便港美股两地投资者认购，投资者可以选择在此次发行中以普通股代替ADS在港交所进行交易。
本次融资得到了战略股东的支持，在上述发行股数外，金山软件集团将额外认购整体发行规模（公众发行部分+金山软件集团认购部分）的20%。这不仅体现出生态企业对于公司业务发展的支持，也彰显了股东对于金山云长期发展的信心。本次融资将提升金山云的资金实力，改善资本结构，有助于公司更好抓住增长机会。
公告显示，对于此次ADS发行所得，金山云计划用于投资于升级和扩大基础设施、投资于技术和产品开发、一般公司和营运资本用途。
