KKR (KKR) said Monday it has appointed David Petraeus as chairman of KKR Middle East and established an investment team in the region, led by Julian Barratt-Due.
The private-equity giant said it has had local offices in the region since 2009 and deployed capital directly since 2019.
KKR shares were up 1.2% in recent premarket activity.
