AGO Examines Six Witnesses in Pertamina Corruption Case

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has conducted an examination of witnesses in the alleged Pertamina corruption case in the management of crude oil and refinery products at PT Pertamina, Sub Holding, and Contractors Cooperation Contract period 2018 to 2023. This time, the prosecutor's investigative team at the Directorate of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) examined a total of six individuals as witnesses.

"The witness examination is conducted to strengthen evidence and complete the dossier in the case," said Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar in Jakarta as stated in press release number PR - 315/021/K.3/Kph.3/04/2025, Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Here is the list of the six individuals examined as witnesses:

1. DPR as the President Director of PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI) Persero from July 24, 2015 to August 24, 2016.

2. FTR as the Manager of Market Research & Data Analysis at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional.

3. ABN as the General Manager of PT KPI Refinery Unit (RU-VI) Balikpapan.

4. YT as the General Manager of PT KPI Refinery Unit (RU-IV) Balongan.

5. WSW as the General Manager of PT KPI Refinery Unit (RU-IV) Cilacap.

6. EJU as the Vice President Process and Facility at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional.

The day before, in the same case, Kejagung also examined a total of 9 individuals as witnesses. According to Harli's explanation, the majority of these nine individuals are assistant managers and managers from PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional

"Employees at the assistant manager and manager levels were examined in their capacity as witnesses in the case involving Pertamina, its subsidiaries, and contractors," said Harli, as quoted from an official statement on Monday.

So far, a total of 9 suspects have been named in the alleged corruption case of crude oil imports by Pertamina's subsidiaries, at a time when the domestic supply was sufficient. Six of them are officials from Sub Holding Pertamina, while the other three are from the private sector.

They are President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN) Riva Siahaan, Director of Feedstock & Product Optimization at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) Sani Dinar Saifuddin, and Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping Yoki Firnandi. Then, Director of Marketing and Trading at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Maya Kusmaya, VP trading operation PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Edward Corne, and VP Feedstock Management at PT KPI Agus Purwono.

As for the three private sector entities named as suspects in the Pertamina corruption case, they are the Beneficial Owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa Muhammad Kerry Adrianto Riza, Commissioner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa and Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim Dimas Werhaspati, and Commissioner of PT Jenggala Maritim and PT Orbit Terminal Merak Gading Ramadhan Joede.
