PANews 4月16日消息，据The Block报道，渣打银行最新报告预测，美国即将出台的《稳定币监管法案》（GENIUS法案）将推动全球稳定币规模从目前的2300亿美元激增至2028年底的2万亿美元。该行数字资产主管Geoffrey Kendrick指出，法案将为行业提供合法地位，并促使稳定币发行商大规模增持美债。
报告显示，未来四年内，稳定币行业对美国国债的需求预计将达1.6万亿美元——足以消化特朗普若连任后任期内所有新发短期国债；按年均400亿美元计算，稳定币行业可能成为美债市场最大买家群体。此外，目前Circle已将88%的USDC储备配置于短期美债，这种模式可能成为行业标准。分析师认为，美元稳定币的快速发展短期内将巩固美元地位，但长期来看，若出现其他货币支持的稳定币，可能对美元地位构成挑战。值得注意的是，法案要求稳定币储备资产期限不超过93天，这将促使发行商集中配置短期国债，进一步影响美债市场结构。
