The project is built around a conceptual development study which includes part production for testing, to refine manufacturing processes for future projects.
The partnership also highlights Titomic’s commitment to addressing global supply chain challenges by utilising localised production capabilities in the United States.
The pressure vessel market, valued in the billions, offers growth potential; this collaboration positions both companies to capture this opportunity.
Key to the collab is Titomic’s cold spray technology, which eradicates the need for high-heat methods and facilitates the quick creation of stronger, more complex components, produced with minimal material waste.
After the news, Titomic CEO Jim Simpson declared the importance of overcoming supply chain barriers in manufacturing critical defence components.
