Brazil Potash (GRO) said Tuesday that its Potassio do Brasil unit has awarded a contract for fauna rescue services to Ecology Suporte Ambiental e Engenharia.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
Fauna rescue, along with vegetation clearance, will allow the company to proceed with site preparation for its Autazes Potash Project, Brazil Potash said.
Under the contract, the company said teams will identify, capture, and safely move native wildlife to suitable habitats to help preserve biodiversity during project development in compliance with the environmental permits from the Amazonas Environmental Protection Institute.
